Steven Wayne Weaver, 71, passed away July 29, 2024.  He was born in Nansemond County, VA the son of the late Joseph Edward Weaver, Sr. and Lennie Belle Whitley Weaver.  He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Edward Weaver, Jr.; sister, Mary Lynn Akers; and nephew, Brian Akers.  Steven worked as an autobody technician.  He loved fishing, hunting, shooting pool, and watching Nascar.

Steven is survived by his aunt, Betty Weaver; favorite cousin, Lisa Weaver Jones; and numerous other cousins.

A funeral service will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Lisa Meyers officiating.  Burial will be private Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to Providence United Methodist Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
