Steven Randall Black of Suffolk, VA passed away February 22, 2018. He was born in Durham, NC to Minnie I. Black and the late Harvey B. Black. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Phyllis Dillard Black.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Rob Wiggins, Christy and James Coale, and Amy and Philip Moser; grandchildren, David Price, Katlyn Wiggins, and Hunter Moser; and faithful companion, Linda Wahab.

Steve worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken then worked for Boddie Noell Enterprises of Rocky Mount, NC until retiring as V.P. of operations for the central area of Virginia. During his retirement Steve enjoyed beekeeping and was a member of the Tidewater Beekeepers Association. He attended Somerton Friends Meeting in Suffolk.
