Steve David Barnes, 57, of Windsor, VA passed away on October 2, 2012. A native of Suffolk, VA, he was the son of the late David Lee Barnes and is survived by his mother, Paige West Harrington. He is also predeceased by his step father, Wilton D. Harrington, Sr. Steve worked for over 30 years at Electric Motor and Contracting as an electric motor mechanic. He loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and relaxing in his garage.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara W. Barnes; sons and daughter-in-law, Jason David and Maria Barnes, Cory Alan Barnes; grandchildren, Logan and Leland Barnes; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Charles Williams; brothers and sister-in-law, Terry R. Barnes, Richard D. and Wendy Barnes.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Dennis Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
