Stella Mae Wells Jones, 85, of Franklin, VA passed away on February 6, 2010. A native of Corinth, MS, she was the daughter of the late Willie Gurley and Joseph Eli Wells. She was also predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Otis Terrell Jones, brother, Oscar Leon Wells, grandson, Chad Edward Holland. She was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the ladies auxiliary and performed duets with her sister. She was also a member of the V.F.W Auxiliary of Belleview, FL.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Monnette J. and E. Stanley Holland, of Franklin, VA, grandchildren, Monica Dellamar and husband Mike of Mechanicsville, VA, Warren Holland and wife Jessica of Franklin, VA., great grandchildren, Tyler, Diamond, Tanner, Alexis, Ethan, Rachel, Emma, sisters, Earlene Bragg of Corinth, MS, Naomi Lindsay of Panama City, FL, brothers and sisters in law, James and Cathy Wells of Pearl, MS, Joe and Becky Wells of Corinth, MS, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, 330 S.W. 66th St., Ocala, FL 34476 followed by a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Pat Williams officiating. Interment will be held Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Memorial donations may be given to the church.
