Shirley Twiddy Watts, 76, of Suffolk, VA passed away September 10, 2015. She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Jewel and Robert Twiddy. She is also predeceased by her son, William Thomas Watts, III. Shirley retired after many years as a teacher's aide and secretary for the Chesapeake School System.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Thomas Watts, Jr.; daughter, Jean Watts Cowan and husband, James Cowan, Jr.; grandchildren, Christina Watts Walker and husband, Jason Walker, and William Thomas Watts, IV; sisters, Joann Cummins and husband, Herb, and Linda Knick and husband, Bob; and sister-in-law, Anne Watts Wolters and husband, Richard.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Greg Ryan officiating.
