A wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and friend, Shirley Ann Babb Harrell Baines, 80, of Suffolk, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2022. Born in Nansemond County, Virginia on August 1, 1941, Shirley was the daughter of the late James Edward Babb and Annie "Margie" Piland Babb. She parted this earth with a piece of our hearts and replaced the piece she took with a piece of hers, so we can be complete. The piece she left us will carry her love and memories until the day we meet again.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her husbands, Robert Redell Harrell, Sr. and J. Irving Baines and Brother, John E. Babb. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon (Fred) Williams, Roberta "Robbie" (Tyler) Brown, and Robert "Bob" (Christie) Harrell, Jr. Grandchildren, Stephanie O'Neal, Jason Thomas, Elizabeth (Tyler) Heck, James (Andy) Simpson, Ty Brown, and Reid Harrell. Great Grandchildren, Ian, Shae, Keegan, Raelynn, Keaton, Kamryn, Lonnie and Kaylee and special friend John "Elbert" Barrow.

A funeral service honoring Shirley's love and life will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk, Virginia with Rev. Ricky Garza officiating.
