Sherry Marie Burke Thrasher, 56, of Suffolk, passed away January 16, 2012. She was born in Manassas, VA to Margaret Ruth England Burke and the late Roger Earl Burke. Sherry worked as a LPN for Bon Secours Hospice.


In addition to her mother, Sherry is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jean Joel Thrasher; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Thrasher Dunkley and Charles Edward Dunkley of Suffolk, VA; son, Jason Andrew Thrasher of Richmond, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett and Marie Burke of Bealeton, VA and Ronald and Nona Burke of Fort Wheeler, TX.


A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Reggie Warren officiating.
