Sherrie Kay Burnett Abel, 43, passed away May 22, 2018.  She was born in Lucedale, MS the daughter of the late Patricia Louise Gante Holt.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Sherrie is survived by her husband of 24 years, Edward Allen Abel; daughter, Victoria Elizabeth Abel; sons, Joshua Edward Abel and Christopher Arthur Abel; sister, Julia Martin; and brother, Timothy Burnett.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Ricky Garza officiating.  Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery.  Friends may join the family Tuesday night for a time of visitation from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
