Sherri Carolyn Edwards, aged 52, passed away on March 31, 2025. Born in Nansemond Co, VA, she was the beloved daughter of Linda Carolyn Lynn Edwards and the late Macon Ray Edwards. She was also predeceased by her brother, Curtis Lee Edwards.

Sherri is survived by her loving family, including her mother, her fiancé Christopher Wray Clark, her daughter Christen Leigh Gentry, and her son James Nickalus Gentry. She was a cherished grandmother to Kai A. Ramirez, Verity J. Ramirez, Juliette K. Ramirez, Bo Jack Gentry, and Lily F. White. She is also survived by her brothers, Bryan Ray Edwards and Mark Leon Edwards.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
