Sharon Ann Mealhouse, 80, of Suffolk, VA passed away September 8, 2024. She was born August 22, 1944, in Detroit, MI.

Sharon was a Teacher's Assistant with Suffolk Public Schools. She was a devout member of Magnolia Methodist Church since 1974, where she was a member of the Shaw Bible Class and on occasion would teach Sunday school. Earlier, she was a member of the church choir and expressed her God given talent singing solos in services and private weddings. Sharon was known for her happy and loving personality that she would express in laughing, singing, and sometimes even dancing.

Sharon was the daughter of the late Marion Alberta and Edgar James Shepley (biological daughter of John Gajeski). She was also predeceased by her brothers, James Gajeski and Richard Shepley. She is survived by her sons, Tommy Nichols (Maria), Bobby Nichols, and Michael Mealhouse (Morgan) ; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, James Shepley; and sister, Sandra Turner.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 11am - 12pm at Magnolia Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Nichols officiating. Contributions may be sent to Magnolia Methodist Church, 1764 Wilroy Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434 in loving memory of Sharon A. Mealhouse.
