Obituary

Scott Charles Ankofski, 55, passed away February 11, 2025.  He was born in Macomb County, Michigan the son of Frances Ankofski and the late Bernard Ankofski.  He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Patti Ankofski.  Scott was a United States Army veteran having served during Desert Storm.  He later went on to work as a diesel mechanic for Caterpillar and then most recently at HRCP.  During his earlier years he had memberships with the Moose Lodge and the VFW.  Scott loved his family and friends more than anything and had a sense of humor that could make you laugh on your darkest days.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife, Anita A. Ankofski; children, Keegan Ankofski (Courtney), Alicia Doughtie (Jeffrey), and Bethany Folden (Nathan); step child, Jennifer Merrill; grandchildren, Avery and Riley Ankofski, Magnolia and Rowan Doughtie, and Madeleine and Amelia Folden; siblings, Anne-marie Maganello (Gary), Carolyn Hall (Mark), Marc Ankofski, and Paul Ankofski (Debbie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Scott's life will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 where friends and family will have the opportunity to say a few words beginning at 2 p.m.  A time of visitation will follow that at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Rehab or Addiction Clinic.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
