Sarah Doris Watkins Warren, 86, of Smithfield, Va passed away on December 11, 2011. A native of Wallace, NC she was the daughter of the late Obic Alexander Watkins and Beatrice Brown Watkins. She was also predeceased by her husband Charles Hughes Cavanaugh, a daughter, Pauletta Kay Serber and a grandson Charles C. Cavanaugh. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Geraldine C. Townsend and Kenneth J. Mutispaugh of Smithfield and Sharon Y. Cavanaugh and Randal Wilkins of Montgomery, AL; two sons and daughters-in-law: Everett A. and Bonnie Cavanaugh of Norfolk and Marcus O. and Nancy Cavanaugh of Sumpter, SC; ten grandchildren: Arva, Dean, Jeremy, Ava, Chris, Maria, Sarah, Debbie, Donna and Doris; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4759 Bennette's Pasture Road, Suffolk 23435. Burial will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery. Friends may join the family on Wednesday, December 14 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home for visitation.
