Sarah Davis Outland, 93, of Suffolk passed away on January 15, 2009. She was the daughter of the late, June A. Davis and Maude Futrell Davis and a native of Conway, NC. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Mack Outland, Sr., three sons, two great granddaughters, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. Sarah was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Suffolk, and a member of the Golden Age Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty M. and Earl Bunch of Suffolk; three sons and daughter-in-law, Leonard M. Outland, Jr. and Patricia W. Outland of Suffolk, Isaac Gerald Outland of Palm Springs, CA, and Larry Gene Outland of Vista, CA; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; sisters Dean Stuart, Lydia Harrell and Madeline Thomas.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, with Rev. Keith Davey and Rev. Micah Voight officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday evening for visitation from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Missions to Military, Inc.
