Sara Trimmier Leggett, 82, passed away October 24, 2025.  She was born in North Augusta, SC the daughter of the late William Trimmier and Floride Lee Trimmier.  She was predeceased by her husband, William Walter Leggett.  Sara retired from the Utilization Review Department at Sentara Obici Hospital.  Following her retirement, she volunteered at the Western Tidewater Free Clinic.  She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and actively served there for numerous years.

Sara is survived by her sons, Boyd Hartman (Cameron) and Bryon Hartman; step children, Dubby Leggett and Anne Leggett; grandchildren, Emma Hartman, Chase Hartman, Tyler Hartman, Kristiana Hartman, Marisa Howard, Joshua Howard, Sam Leggett and Emily Leggett; great grandchildren, Rylee Hartman, Aubree Hartman, and Brooklyn Hartman; and brother, Tom Trimmier (Priscilla).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 5358 Zuni Cir, Zuni, VA 23898.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Western Tidewater Free Clinic or the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
