Sara Ferguson, 88, passed away September 25, 2017.  She was born in Pitt County, NC the daughter of the late Elbert and Emma Stokes.  She was predeceased by her husband, Howard L. Ferguson; sister, Jean Jones; and brother, Junior Stokes.  Sara retired as a bookkeeper.  She was a member of Bethel Christian Fellowship for numerous years where she actively served.

Sara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Ken Bott; granddaughter, Shelly Koziana; step grandsons, John and Steve Bott; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11 a.m at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be held at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, earmarked, Disaster Relief at PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839 or Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
