Sandra Jean Whitley Roberts, 69, died on October 1, 2016. She was born in Nansemond Co, VA to the late Martha Ann Edwards and Perry Odell Whitley Sr. She was a senior deputy clerk of court for the city of Suffolk.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Donald W. Roberts Sr.; daughter, Angi Roberts; son, Donny Roberts; grandchildren, Kirstin Warren, Makayla and Talitha Roberts, Chavisti Lindsay and Donald W. Roberts III; great grandchild, Dakoyta Rayne Highfill; sisters, Lyndia Redd and Ernestine Warren; and brother, Perry Whitley Jr.
