Sandra L. Nosil, 85, passed away January 12, 2021. Born in Chicago, IL, Sandy was a long-time resident of Suffolk before moving to Newport News in 2014. Before her retirement, Sandy worked as a legal secretary. Besides her husband Joe and her family, Sandy's great love was baseball. If the Yankees were playing, Sandy was cheering them on.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Nosil Jr.; her parents, Dorothy and Steve Longwitz; and her sister, Gayle Coker. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Lauri Nosil; and granddaughter, Sydney Nosil.
