Ryan Taylor Tew, 27, was raised in Suffolk, Virginia the son of Karen K. Tew and the late William Lee Tew, Sr.  He was predeceased by his aunt, Susan Walker.  Ryan lived life to the fullest.  He loved to fish, snowboard at Snowshoe, and take care of his brother.  In his earlier years, SYAA baseball was his life and he enjoyed spending time on the ballfield with his father and teammates.

In addition to his mother, Ryan is survived by his sisters, Kristina A. Briske (Douglas), Katherine "Katy" M. Tew; brother, William "Bill Bill" L. Tew, Jr.; niece and nephew, Allison A. Briske and Hunter L. Arrowood; aunts and uncles, Paul Kube (Jeanne), Debbie McCreary (Steve), Harry Tew (Gay), Liz Lester (Steve), and Teresa Tew (Roger); and numerous other family members.

The family will be gathering to celebrate Ryan's life on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor John Hunter officiating.  Friends are also welcome to gather from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service to speak with the family at the funeral home.  Thoughts and prayers can be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
