Ruth Warren Spivey, 87, of Suffolk, VA passed away May 21, 2010. She was born in Perquimans County, NC the daughter of the late George Warren Spivey and Ruth Jordan Spivey. She was predeceased by her sister, Patty Oliver and brothers, Grover Spivey and Malvern Spivey.

Ruth is survived by her sister-in-law, Gladys Spivey; niece, Judy Hodges; nephews, Alan Spivey and Michael Oliver; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA with Rev. Charles W. Thompson officiating.
