Ruth Ellen Amici, 73, of Suffolk, VA passed away November 2, 2017. She was born in Charleston, WV to the late Irvin and Lona Kidd. She is also predeceased by her son, Randy Amici; sister, Kathryn Pauley; and brother, Irvin Kidd, Jr. Ruth retired from Virginia Beach General Hospital as Executive Director of Maintenance. Ruth was a gifted artist and in her retirement she enjoyed studying genealogy, decorating and making keepsake dolls.

Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mia and Ken Coltrane; son, Kenneth Amici; and grandchildren, Autumn Amici, Forrest Amici, Molly Coltrane, Samantha Coltrane; and sister, Patricia Clarke.
