Russell "Russ" Moffett of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2018, at the age of 71. Russ was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late Nelson and­­­ Martha Moffett. Russ was a retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant having served during the Vietnam and Gulf Wars. He recently served as Vice President, Commissary Affairs and Member Relations for the American Logistics Association. While Russ was dedicated to his career and country, his devotion to his wife and family was unrivaled.

Russ is survived by his beloved wife, Bonita Marie Moffett; children, Justin McCullum (Alison), Derek McCullum and Megan McCullum; grandchildren Devon, Tatiana, and Penelope; and great-granddaughter, Scarlett; sister, Cathy Kaczmarek (Gary); brothers, Nelson Moffett (Earlene) and Paul Moffett; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, David Moffett and sister, Leeann Moffett.
