Rufus Coston Cobb, 90, passed away March 30, 2015. He was born in Isle of Wight County, VA the son of the late Benjamin Madison Cobb and Pearl Barrett Cobb. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Mildred A. Cobb. He was a United States Army veteran having served during WWII. Coston worked as a farmer and later worked as a mechanic for the Isle of Wight County School Bus Garage. He was a long time member of Antioch Church in Windsor, VA.

Coston is survived by his daughter, Deborah Cobb Hendrix and husband, Michael; son, David Coston Cobb and wife, Jenny; grandchild, Matt Jensen and wife, Michelle; great grandchildren, Lily and Charlotte Jensen; step granddaughters, Heather Veney and Tiffany Paul; sister, Kathryn Jenkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor John Hunter and Pastor Chris Cherry officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Antioch Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family Thursday night for a time of visitation from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
