Ruby Salmon
Warren
July 28, 1931 – May 3, 2023
Ruby Salmon Warren, 91, of Suffolk, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2023. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Salmon and Della Mae Salmon. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur McCoy Warren, Sr. and her son, Arthur McCoy Warren, Jr.
Ruby was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the Joyce Ann Harrell Sunday School Class. She served as an usher, deacon, and on the Board of Christian Education, as well as many numerous other committees. She was a member of the King-Savage Circle, The Women's Fellowship of BCC, and The Bible Study Class of BCC. Over the years she taught Vacation Bible School, served as the Superintendent of Sunday School Classes and as Treasurer.
Ruby is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne Wendell Warren, Michael Jordan Warren and Edith Warren, Richard Earl Warren, Daryl Lynn Warren and Charlene Warren; granddaughters, Brandy Warren Dunn (Matt), Shamra Warren Everette, Kristen Warren Gardner (Michael), Stephanie Warren Agricola (Cameron), Ashley Warren Gardner, Chelsea Warren Repko (Zachary); grandsons, Nathan Warren (Danielle) and Stephen Warren; great grandchildren, Octavia Everette, Maleia Everette, Blaise W. Gardner, Xander Reed Gardner, Annabelle Gardner, Jameson Gardner, Kallie Repko, Gunner Repko, Sadie Dunn, Claire Dunn, and Emma Anne Agricola; step great grandson, Cody Gardner; step great granddaughter, Madison Dunn; brother and sister-in-law, Jack Owen Salmon (Virginia); and numerous other family members.
A funeral service will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church with Rev. Rob Slingluff and Rev. Lafayette "Mugsy" Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Sunday night from 7 - 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to the Bethlehem Christian Church Building Fund. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
