Roy Elton Walters, 79, passed away April 19, 2018.  He was born in San Diego, CA, to the late Howard and Doris Patton Waldron. Roy was a retired Q.C. Inspector with American G.F.M. He retired from the U.S. Navy having served 21 years and was a Vietnam veteran.  Roy was a member of St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church.

Roy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Josephine Ann Hickey Walters; sons, Stephen Howard Walters (Eva), Michael Joseph Walters (Mary Jane); grandchildren, Quintin, Catherine, Katrina, David, Camille, Glenn; great grandchildren, D.J., Mikyla.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church, 202 S. Broad Street, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Father Emmanuel Mensah officiating. Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
