Roy Steve Leggett, 67, passed away May 23, 2012. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Gladys Ward Leggett and Harvey Jesse Leggett. He retired as a lab engineer from Kraft foods.

Roy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nita Daughtrey Leggett; daughter, Emily Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anne L. Holland, Edna L. and Gene Smith, Mary L. and Warren Faison, Lucille L. and Neal Gibson, Mildred L. and William Trollinger; brother and sister-in-law, William L. and Jean Leggett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery with Thomas E. Smith officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Saturday prior to the service from 1-1:45 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.
