Roy J. Gerald, Jr. "RJ", 81, passed away on February 14, 2023 in his home with family by his side.  Born in Suffolk, VA and raised by his late mother, Lillian P. White and late step-father, Edward C. White.  He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Ciara S. Lawson.

RJ was a hardworking man who retired from Union Camp and enjoyed Nascar Racing, living the life at Sunset Beach with his shore family who he loved so much.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce J. Gerald; daughters, Kelly Taylor (John), Angela Martinette, Lisa Martinette (Lynn); 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Kendal, Kelsie, Jaylen, Kobe, Blake, Tylen, and Naomi; 8 great grandchildren; a special aunt, Patsy Parker; and cousin, Tracey Sackett.
