Roy Alan Cook's Obituary
Roy Alan Cook, 52, of Suffolk, VA passed away November 12, 2015. He was born in Nansemond County, VA to James A. Cook and Georgia R. Barrett. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Roy is survived by mother, Georgia Rebecca Barrett; father, James A. Cook; and brother, Lyle Dale Cook.
A funeral service will be held Monday November 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Howard Vinson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hunterdale Baptist Church, 23099 Sedley Rd. Franklin, VA 23851. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
