Rose Marie Wilkins Collins, 62, of Suffolk, VA passed away January 16, 2011. She was born in Nansemond Co., VA the daughter of the late Ruby Worley and James Wilkins. Rose was an Avon representative for 15 years. She attended Whaleyville United Methodist Church and was a member of the Women of the Moose Portsmouth Chapter #966.

Rose is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Gregg Curtis of Suffolk, VA; son, James Lloyd Edwards of Smithfield, VA; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; loving fiancé, George "Junior" Thomas Smith, Jr. of Corapeake, NC; brother, Herman Wayne Wilkins of Suffolk, VA.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Pastor William Hall officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Friends can join the family other times at the residence of Sharon and Gregg Curtis.
