Rose Mary McKalvia, 61, of Suffolk, VA passed away December 13, 2010. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Edward Zyskowski and Lucy Dececco Zyskowski. She worked as a receptionist for Sentara Obici Hospital and also volunteered there as well.


Rose is survived by her husband of 10 years, Robert Noel McKalvia; daughters and sons-in-law, Karey and Walter Little of Fredricksburg, VA, Jeanette Hinkal of Chaumount, NY, Crystal and Thomas Oeler of Spotsylvania, VA; grandchildren, Steven, Daniel, Meagan, Shelby, and Jacob; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Roger Noteboom of Virginia Beach, VA.


Friends may join the family Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA for a time of visitation. A graveside service will be private for the family. Entombment will be at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery Mausoleum.
