Rose Mary Kossman, 65, of Suffolk, VA passed away on March 5, 2009. A native of Jersey City, NJ she was the daughter of the late, Edward Fers and Rosemary Krawczyk Fers. She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Celanro. She was a retired Computer Operator.

She is survived by her companion of 22 years, Clemmie O. Jones of Suffolk; a daughter, Joan Sharp of Harrington, DE; a son and his wife James and Debbie Kossman of Smyrna, DE; three grandchildren, John Kossman and, Adam Kossman of Harrington, DE and Alexis Kossman of Smyrna, DE; three great grandchildren, Hayden Kossman and Adam Kossman, Jr.; one sister, Connie Kozachok of Jersey City, NJ and one brother, Edwards Fers of Jersey City, NJ.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 12 noon, with Father Piotr Bialkowski officiating, at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 – 8 p.m. for visitation and also prior to the funeral service on Wednesday from 11 – 12 noon.
