Rosalie "Rose" Costilow Matthews, 77, passed away September 20, 2019.  She was born in Thornton, WVA the daughter of the late Adzel Costilow and Bertha C. Reese.  She was predeceased by her step-father, Burton Reese; and brother, Edward Costilow.  She worked and retired from Sentry Services and Wal-Mart.

Rose is survived by her husband of 37 years, Carlton E. Matthews; daughters, Deirdre Jachimiak (Gary), Angie Baines, Yvonne Shaver, and Felicia Rodriguez (Julio); step children, James E. Matthews (Dale), Teresa Truitt (Bobby), and Debbie Jenkins; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
