Rosa "Rose" Lassiter Parks, 97, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2014. She was born in North Carolina the daughter of the late Emlis Tearthur Lassiter and Clyde Smith Lassiter. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years and her son, R. Charles Parks. She was a member of Radiant Life Ministries where she formerly taught Sunday School.

Rose is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Donald R. and Diane Parks, Phillip E. and Katie Parks, and Carole Parks; grandchildren, Doug, Kimberly, Heather, and Joshua; great grandchildren, Jackson, Seth, and Selah; sister, Audrey L. Copeland; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Judy Lassiter, and Sam and Betty Lassiter.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Don Milner officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
