Ronald Hayes Tolbert, 81, passed away July 24, 2023.  He was born in Henry County, VA the son of the late Dock Hayes Tolbert and Nora Wilson Tolbert.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Rhonda Ferrier.  Ronald retired as a civil service employee from Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruth Beumer Tolbert; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Don Vilfer; step son, Randy and Carol Janey; grandchildren, Tyler Ferrier, Max Ferrier, Ryan Vilfer, Tyler Vilfer, and Cate Janey; sister, Judy Ellis; and brother, Jerry Tolbert.
