Ronald Joseph "Ron" Hefton's Obituary
Ronald Joseph "Ron" Hefton, 80, passed away on May 10, 2023. He was born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania to the late Frances Constance Kluka and John Francis Hefton. He is also predeceased by his brother, Jack Hefton, and sister, Donna Konras. Ron worked and retired from Dominion Power after 28 years of service. He was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church, where he served as a deacon and also taught Sunday school.
Ron was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Hefton. He had a special bond with his son, Clayton Eley IV. They both had a mutual love of cars and racing. He is also survived by both his loving daughter in law, Christa Eley, and sister in law, Sue Thymides; and granddaughters, Willa Eley, Payton Eley, and Taylor Inman, who knew him as "Big Daddy".
Ron loved God's creation of nature and all the living things in it. He enjoyed long walks in the woods with all his many dog companions over the years. In lieu of flowers, please give a donation to an animal rescue of your choice. A private family service will be held at a later date.
