Robin Pittard Burden, 56, passed away July 9, 2018.  She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of Margaret Lillie Turner Pittard and the late Harvie Seldon Pittard.  She was predeceased by a brother, Russell Pittard.  Robin co-owned Indian Trail Electric.  She was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, Robin is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rex Allen Burden; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Joseph Bass; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Meghann Burden; grandchildren, Hunter, Avery, and Rex; brother and sister-in-law, Mack Pittard, II and Shelby Pittard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Western Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Micah Voight officiating.  Burial will be private in the church cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Western Branch Baptist Church or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
