Roberta R. Anderson, 89, of Suffolk, VA died November 15, 2015. She was born September 17, 1926 in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Earl and Lila White. She attended school in Ogden, Utah. On October 30, 1945 she married Harry S. Anderson, they lived in Rosedale, NY. In 1998 they retired to New Hartford, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 2003, and she moved to Suffolk, VA in 2005. She is also predeceased by her brother, Earl, and granddaughter, Kelly. She was a member of the Whaleyville United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women, the Suffolk Senior Center, and the New Hartford American Legion Auxiliary, 1376.

Roberta leaves four sons and four daughters-in-law, Harry K. Anderson and Roseann, Bruce A. Anderson and Elena, Ronald K. Anderson and Maria, and Scott D. Anderson and Lisa; five grandchildren, Brian, Christine, Casie, Nicholas, and Eric; five great grandchildren; sisters, Nettie and Mary; and brother, Gordon.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Whaleyville United Methodist Church with Pastor Jack Meservey officiating. Friends may consider the church's memorial fund in her memory. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com. Going Home.
