Robert Earl White, 81, passed away February 19, 2016. He was born in Surry County, VA the son of the late Rufus W. and Susie O. White. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was the retired owner of Marathon Electric Company. He was an active member of the Old Mill Creek Homeowners Association.

Robert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elsie May Barrett White; daughter, Susan White Davis and husband, Archie; son, Robert E. White, Jr.; step children, Albert Frank Buppert, Jr. (Rita Graham), Timothy Scott Buppert; grandchildren, Patrick Davis (Keri Gough Davis), Benjamin Davis, Michael Davis, Sarah Elizabeth White; step grandchildren, Erin Buppert, Becky Buppert, and Joseph Boyers; great grandchild, Calvin Davis; sister, Faye W. Vaughan; brother, Charles White (Carol).
