Robert "Bobby" Walter Duke, III, 65, passed away January 24, 2014. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Bettie Mary Gardner Duke and Robert W. Duke, Jr. He worked as an engineering technician for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and retired after 36 years. He was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church and the Davis Ridley Hunt Club.

Bobby is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Kelly Johnson; son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Megan Duke; grandchildren, Tyler, Bryan, and Ryleigh Johnson, and Addison Duke; and loving companion, Margie Bass.

A funeral service will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Wilroy Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. Friends can join the family for a time of visitation Sunday from 4 - 5 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
