Robert Louis "Bob" Stallworth, 64, passed away October 6, 2012. He was born October 10, 1947 to the late William Stallworth and Hazel Cotton Stallworth. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diana; children, JoAnna Long, Shannon Stallworth, Lance and Rhonda Hingerty; grandchildren, Tyler and Kamren Hingerty, Eva Dunn, Dixie Gibson, and Chloe and Phoebe Weaver; brother, William Stallworth; and three sisters, Mary S. Murdock, Evelyn S. Griffin, Peggy S. Emdee.

Bob was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He was a US Navy Veteran, former police officer in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Nansemond County. Bob retired after 32 years from the Newport News Shipyard. He was an avid biker and Harley enthusiast. He will be sadly missed by many, especially his cherished and loving wife Diana.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434.
