Robert "Bob" James Litterst, 82, of Suffolk, VA passed away August 30, 2010. He was born in Chicago, IL the son of the late Mary Grace Ashcraft Litterst and Harry Litterst. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He later went on to retire from the U.S. Postal Service. Bob was a member and Past Master of the Lake Drummond Lodge #178 AF & AM. He was also a member and Past Patron of the Victory Chapter #16 O.E.S.

Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann E. Litterst of Suffolk; daughters, Julie Voeller of Ogden, UT and Marcia Rodriguez of Appomattox, VA; son, Robert G. Litterst of Wake Forest, NC; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister; 1 brother.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lake Prince Woods with Chaplin Woodie Rea officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lake Drummond Lodge #178 at 509 George Washington Hwy.
