Robert Otis "Bobby" Holland, 84, of Windsor, VA went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2023. He was the son of the late Otis and Pauline Holland. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Martha B. Holland and his beloved dog, Chico. He was an active member at Windsor Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Usher. He retired from VA Power as a welder. One of the highlights of his career was when he was featured in Time Magazine.

Bobby is survived by sons and daughters in law, Robert A. "Alan" and Connie, Jimmy D. and Kelly, Martin D. "Dale" and Pam; grand and great grandchildren and spouses, Tonya, Mike, Madison and Bryce Turner, Robert "RA", Jessica and Tripp Holland, Deanna, Robbie, Kennedy and Emerson Felts, Westley, Melissa and Sawyer Holland, Danielle Holland, Barak and Makynlie Coster, and Ryan Holland; brothers, Billy Holland, Phil and Mary Holland; and daughter in law, Gwyn Holland.

Dad was a proud loving father, grandparent, and great grandparent. He was the rock of his family who always kept traditions going. He was a humble, generous, patient, beautiful gentleman. He was a devoted servant to the Lord. Dad was always willing to help a neighbor no matter the distance. His hobbies included golf, building trailers and dog houses, jet skiing and being with family. Dad touched many lives with his quiet demeanor and huge heart of gold. Dad always said we were the blessings, but he was the bones that our foundation was built on. His memory will continue to be kept alive and cherished.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Alderman officiating and burial to follow at Windsor Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made in honor of Bobby to Windsor Baptist Church or St. Jude Hospital.

His Lord said unto him, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of the Lord."
