Robert James Forbes, 73, born in Nansemond County, VA, passed away, December 30, 2016. He was the son of the late James Thomas and Evelyn Mildred Haag Forbes. Robert retired from International Paper after 40 years of service.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Wendy Forbes James (Calvin); and granddaughter, Peyton Elizabeth James.

Entombment will be Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, from 7-8 p.m., at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to C.A.P.S., P.O.
