Robert "Bob" Corbell, Phelps, 74, of Hampton, VA passed away on April 16, 2024. He was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of the late Elton James Phelps and Lillyon Cleo Phelps. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas E. Phelps, grandson, Joshua C. Phelps, brother, Cater and sisters, LaDonna and Nancy. Bob retired from Dominion Virginia Power Company after 40 years of service, he began as a lineman at 20 years old and retired as head store keeper in 2009. He was a member of Langley Christian Church and Free Hunters Hunt Club. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Eva "Helene" Phelps; daughter, Rebecca Hollis; grandchildren, Stephanie Phelps, Joseph Harvey and wife Star Harvey, Sarah and Samantha Hollis, and Almeida Phelps-Wagner; sisters, Margaret, Dee, and Debbie; brother, Jerry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and loving pets, Libby and Romeo.

Bob's memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 10, 2024 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
