Robert Wayne "Bob" Babb age 67, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2014. He was born in Suffolk, Virginia, on April 25, 1947. He is predeceased by his parents, Oscar Babb and Emma Babb.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sandra Ellis Gray Babb; his children, Michelle Moore (Bill) and Michael Babb (Kim) of Norfolk, Virginia; Robert Wayne Babb Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Chad Gray (Shelia), and Matt Gray (Vanessa) Suffolk, Virginia. Also, survivors include his grandchildren, Elisabeth and Catherine Moore, Caitlin and Connor Babb, Kaitlyn and Carter Kaplan of Norfolk, Virginia and Chelsea, Colby and Kaleb Gray and Ethan Thornbrue of Suffolk, Virginia. He is survived by a sister, Frances Baines (Otis) of Suffolk, Virginia; a half- sister, Helen Hill of Baltimore, Maryland; and a brother, Frankie Babb (Barbara) of Suffolk, Virginia.

Bob retired from Clarke American after 40 years of service. He was a member of Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, North Carolina.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at Parr Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Chapel Cemetery. Afterwards, friends may join the family at Cypress Community House. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Virginia 23434.
