Robbie Robertson, 40, of Suffolk, VA passed away June 7, 2010. He was a 1988 graduate of Forest Glen High School. He worked 22 years for International Paper as a crew leader for back tender No. 1.

Job and family were Robbie's life. He loved working in his yard and spending time with his family and friends. After the passing of his nephew Tyler's father, Clark Capps he was a special uncle to Tyler, spending time fishing, four wheeling, throwing ball, and at the beach.

Robbie is survived by his mother, Brenda T. Robertson; sister, Michelle Capps; nephew, William Tyler Capps all of Suffolk, VA; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Sallie and Hubert Tew, Robbie and Amy Robertson, and Minnie Robertson.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Jim George officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation at the residence anytime on Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association at P.O.
