Richard David Wilkins, 50, passed away August 13, 2015. He was born in Norfolk, VA to Faye Ratley Lapsley and Sidney Warren Wilkins, Sr. Richard is predeceased by his grandparents Herman and Mamie Wilkins and Eloise and Leo Gineika. Richard was a serviceman for Dominion Virginia Power. He was the President of Tucker Swamp Hunt Club and a member of Central Hill Hunt Club and Delaware Hunt Club.

Richard is survived by his son, David Chase Wilkins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim L. and Tommy Irving, Dana and Pete Candis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Denise Wilkins, Sidney W. and Pat Wilkins, Jr.; numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA, 23434. Interment will follow at Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and other times at the residence.
