Richard "Dick" Wayne Goodman, 88, of Carrsville, VA passed away October 31, 2016. He was born in Williamsfield, OH to the late Richard and Ada Goodman. He is also predeceased by a daughter, Linda Goodman Rubin. He retired after over 30 years as a salesman for Mid-Atlantic Fasteners. Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a former coach and president of Churchland Little League, a member of Hi-Fi's Band, and owner of Goodman Herb Gardens in Walters, VA.

Dick is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joanne O. Goodman; sons and daughters-in-law, R. Wayne and Amy Goodman, and Robert and Kelly Goodman; grandchildren, Jared, Samantha, Tyler, Zachary, Eric, and Ryan Goodman; two great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Thom Rubin and wife, Debbie.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 12 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory.
