Richard Rees, 82, passed away September 20, 2017.  He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late Richard C. Steele and Alma Mansfield Rees.  Richard retired from the United States Army Reserves.  He worked as a paint technician for Chesapeake Hardwood.

Richard is survived by Lana McGuirk and Jane Newbern.

Services are private.  Burial will be at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.  Parr Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
