Richard Ronald Piland, 68, passed away May 22, 2017.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Richard Roland Piland and Flossie Joe Smith Piland.  He was predeceased by his sister, Louise Piland "Ma" Snook.

Richard is survived by his brother, William Quinton "Billy" Piland,  and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Holland Cemetery with Rev. Matt Winters officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
