Richard "Ricky" Matthew Delk, 61, passed away September 4, 2018.  He was born in Fort Huachuca, AZ the son of Marie Scott Delk and the late Dan Gwaltney Delk.  He was a 1975 graduate of Forest Glen High School.  Ricky formerly worked as an insurance agent for 39 years.  He was a member of CrossPointe Free Will Baptist Church where he also attended the Adult Sunday School Class.  He was also a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #151, the LUTCF, and was a 13-year member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christine Hobbs Delk; son, Christopher Matthew Delk; sister, Julie Renea Delk; nephew, Noah Hunter Delk; aunts, Betty A. Scott and Nancy D. Hall; and uncle, Richard L. Scott.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. at CrossPointe Church with Pastor David Sexton officiating.  The family is requesting casual attire for the service.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.  Parr Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
